SUMMARY:Mini Gourd Painting
DESCRIPTION:The Mini Gourd Painting program is designed to support science literacy\, vocabulary development\, and observation skills by guiding children through a brief exploration of the gourd's life cycle\, exploring some basic agricultural science. Combining this STEM component with a hands-on art activity reflects best practices in children's programming by engaging multiple learning styles simultaneously\, while also fostering creative expression\, fine motor development\, and a sense of community. This approach aligns with the library's mission to provide programs that are both enriching and accessible\, ensuring that participants leave with a takeaway that is educational\, creative\, and personally meaningful. \n\nSign up at https://www.cecilcountylibrary.org/event/mini-gourd-painting-126988 or call one of our branches to have them sign you up!
