SUMMARY:CETAT AI Experience
DESCRIPTION:The CETAT AI Experience is an interactive\, hands-on STEM activity designed to introduce participants to artificial intelligence in a fun and approachable way. Guests will explore AI through three engaging stations: AI Detective\, AI Creator\, and AI Brain.\n\nAt AI Detective\, participants will test their ability to identify AI-generated content and learn how to think critically about information created by artificial intelligence. At AI Creator\, participants will use an AI image-generation tool to create their own original artwork and see how AI can turn ideas into digital creations. At AI Brain\, participants will explore a computer tower and learn about the hardware components that make modern computing and AI possible.\n\nThe experience is designed to encourage curiosity\, creativity\, critical thinking\, and digital literacy while showing participants that AI is not just something to read about\, but something they can actively explore\, question\, and understand. \n\n\n\nThe CETAT AI Experience is a hands-on exploration of artificial intelligence featuring three interactive stations: AI Detective\, where participants test their ability to identify AI-generated content; AI Creator\, where they create original artwork using AI; and AI Brain\, where they explore the computer hardware that powers modern technology. The experience encourages creativity\, critical thinking\, and digital literacy while making AI fun and accessible for all ages.\n\nThe event is free and open to the public. SUMMARY:AI Explorers: Understanding Artificial Intelligence
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is changing the way we learn\, create\, communicate\, and solve problems. Join Wicomico Public Library for a four-part virtual series during the Maryland STEM Festival designed for tweens and teens ages 11–17. \n\n\n\nThrough interactive activities\, live demonstrations\, discussions\, and hands-on challenges\, participants will explore how AI works\, how chatbots are trained\, why AI sometimes gets things wrong\, and what responsible AI use looks like. We’ll examine real-world examples of artificial intelligence and discuss the opportunities and challenges these technologies create for our future. \n\n\n\nThis is an on-line event \n\n\n\nParticipants may attend individual sessions or the entire series. Sessions will be recorded and made available on the library website. Saturdays: 10/17\, 10/24\, 11/7\, and 11/14 at 2:00.
