DESCRIPTION:The Chevy Chase Library elevator is currently out of service and undergoing modernization replacement. This program will be held in the downstairs meeting room\, and it will only be accessible by the stairs.Each month we gather to discuss how to improve teen services at MCPL and work on service projects. We offer free snacks\, SSL hours\, and often have guest speakers from the community on teen interests. Details about events are listed at least a month before the TAB meeting.This month we will be discussing what kind of STEM activities teens want to see at the library to create responsive and involved programming and having the teens help out with our October passive program of blind date with a book were they will help by decorating the wrapping paper and wrapping the books.Please fill out this volunteer form if you have not already and bring to the program. The form needs to be signed by a parent or guardian. SUMMARY:Robotics Boot Camp at Wheaton Library- Media Lab
DESCRIPTION:Registration is required. Space is limited.Join us for an introductory robotics program presented by two Walter Johnson High School juniors!As technology continues to shape our world\, skills in STEM—especially robotics\, AI\, and engineering—are becoming increasingly essential. At the same time\, learning these skills can be a fun and rewarding experience for kids.
