DESCRIPTION:UMD offers the only ABET-accredited Undergraduate Program in Fire Protection Engineering in the world\, where students learn how to protect people\, property\, and the environment from fire through innovative engineering design. Graduates have a 100% job placement rate into exciting public-safety-oriented engineering careers around the globe. In this full two-hour session\, you will learn about fire protection engineering courses\, career paths\, and admissions pathways in addition to touring our fire and computer modeling labs.
