SUMMARY:STEAM into Native Cultures
DESCRIPTION:Explore what STEAM stands for while also fostering cultural awareness of Native American Heritage. Explore the concept of the medicine wheel\, cardinal directions\, the lunar calendar (through the book Thirteen Moons on a Turtle’s Back)\, and natural patterns/ cycles. Though the activity is mostly self-guided\, staff members will be present to answer any questions or provide further resources. The associated projects and book will be laid out on a table in the museum.

DESCRIPTION:We will learn about the human skeleton. Let’s mix a solution of invisible ink to paint the skeleton. Then make the skeleton reappear! \nThis program is for aged 5-12 years.  \nPick up a ticket at the front desk for entry! Tickets are first come first served and limited to 60 people.  \nQuestions about this program?
