SUMMARY:Maryland STEM Festival Closing Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:We’re giving the successful 2025 Maryland STEM Festival a big send-off at the Gaithersburg Library on November 16th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Closing Ceremony will feature interactive STEM activities and engaging demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements and innovations. Additionally\, light refreshments will be provided for all attendees. \nAmong the organizations that will be at the Closing are Mathnasium\, American Society of Naval Engineers\, First Lego League Robotics\, One Ocean Scuba\, Universities at Shady Grove\, and Montgomery College STEM Ambassadors.  And there will be an Oceanography Magician.

SUMMARY:Brownie & Junior Robotics
DESCRIPTION:Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors will learn about robots and programming while building a prototype with easily accessible materials. We will use software to explore robotic programming. Then\, the Scouts will showcase their creations to fellow roboticists for feedback. \nAdditional Information: \nSpace in the classroom is limited\, so we can only allow 1 adult in the classroom per group. That adult must be in the classroom at all times. \nAdmission to the exhibits is included for the scouts. Reduced admission can be purchased (day of the workshop) for any adults or family members who would like to visit the exhibits outside of the workshop. \nBadges are not included. They must be purchased from your organization.
