SUMMARY:New Volunteer Orientation Session
DESCRIPTION:We are Montgomery County STEM Volunteer Program\, an educational non-profit (501 c3) organization of retired and working STEM (science\, technology\, engineering\, math) professionals who volunteer our time to go into MCPS schools to bring the real world of STEM into the classroom. We are holding our annual New Volunteer training/orientation session on October 23\, 9.00 am-Noon. If you have the background/experience and are interested in helping students get excited about STEM subjects and how they fit into our everyday lives\, we’d love to hear from you. SUMMARY:Green Internship Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Parks and People and the Branches program will be hosting an open house on campus\, where interns can showcase what they learn in the program\, give a tour of the campus\, and other organizations local to Baltimore city can table as well. This event is two hours long\, and gives the perfect opportunity to visit our beautiful campus and learn more about our amazing program for Baltimore City High Schoolers. Also learning more about different organizations that make up Baltimore City.
