Terrapin Works - Ask a Future Engineer

Start Date of Event: 10/25/2020

Event Times: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM EST

Get a personal view of Terrapins Works operation and what it is like to be an engineering student applying their knowledge in real work applications.

This event will include a virtual tour of our Advance fabrication Lab. Where student staff learn and use a large range of additive manufacturing technologies to help students, staffers, research, and companies bring their ideas to fruition. The tour will showcase the different technologies and machines, and will be lead by our own student staff. You will have the opportunities to ask any questions.

Participants will also be able to be part of a multidisciplinary student panel. In this panel, future engineer students will discuss their experience at UMD and how their gained knowledge has helped them when working on projects for customers. You will have the opportunities to ask any questions.
