STEAM in a Box

Dates of Event: 10/01/2020-10/31/2020

Event Times: Throughout the entire month of October

Description:
As part of the 2020 Maryland STEM Festival, Hagerstown Community College will host a “STEAM in a Box” hands-on, virtual event during the month of October.

HCC’s “STEAM in a Box” will feature fun educational activities related to science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. All month long, HCC will post interactive videos to its YouTube channel for students to participate in at home using materials in their box.

In partnership with the Hagerstown Lions Club and Beacon House Inc., this event is free and open to students in grades K-12.

2020 Maryland STEM Festival Opening Ceremony

Description:
The Festival opens with a celebration of Manufacturing in Maryland. Politicians, Business Leaders and Manufacturers will discuss the importance of Manufacturing in our State. Senator Van Hollen will be the Keynote Speaker.
