For ages 3 – 8. “Coding (or computer programming) is a new type of literacy. Just like writing helps you organize your thinking and express your ideas, the same is true for coding…children aren’t just learning to code, they are coding to learn.” – Mitchel Resnick, ScratchJr Project Leader. We’ll explore several different ways even young children can begin to practice coding skills. This event is one of many Maryland STEM Festival events across the state.
