The USA Science and Engineering Festival All Access Event!

 

            From September 26 through October 3, 2020, join in on the fun at the USA Science and Engineering Festival All Access Event SciFest takes place every two years at the Washington Convention Center, and their first event was so successful it drew over 100,000 attendees! This will be the USA Science and Engineering Festival’s second virtual event of the year, and this free virtual expo will feature over 100 interactive STEM exhibits, a scavenger hunt, and innovative stage shows from over 20 STEM professionals. The event is open to K-12 and college students, educators, and families, and also offers a virtual college career center for job seekers and incorporates 24/7 access to provide opportunities for students from across the globe to take part in inspiring STEM content. In addition, the USA Science and Engineering Festival is encouraging students to create a 15 second video highlighting their experience at SciFest. One video will be chosen as “SciFest Video of the Day” and the student will be awarded a prize. Don’t forget to check out their STEM store for gear, kits and toys!

            Make sure to look out for the Maryland STEM Festival booth at SciFest! Our booth will include a welcome video featuring Mr. Phil Rogofsky, director of the MD STEM Festival, along with 2019 Festival Highlights. The Maryland STEM Festival’s Podcast, 2020 art contest, and Agrownomics, the Festival’s first ever video game, will also be featured at our booth along with an autonomous vehicle video.
