The Festival is off to a great start!  We had a wonderful interview with Dr. Cori Lathan as she discussed her new book Inventing the Future.  We highly recommend picking it up and reading about her fascinating career. Then, we had our interesting and informative Opening Ceremony featuring CNN’s Sean Lyngaas.  You can watch both events on our Facebook page.,

There were 18 events on Saturday including a number which highlighted our Cybersecurity Theme.  Capitol Technology University hosted the STEM Capitol Challenge which featured a Capture the Flag (CTF) activity, learning how to build your own database, drone flying, and rocket building

Old Mill Middle School hosted a Cyber Defender Day which also featured a CTF event, locking picking, repairing computers, and robotics.

Maryland Innovation & Security Institute held an Industrial Control System Cyber Saturday where attendees learned about Facial Recognition, Internet Of Things Home Kit, RFID Cloning, Critical Infrastructure City.
