On Saturday, March 23rd, nearly 100 girl scouts spent a rainy day earning their STEM badges in celebration of Women’s History Month at Morgan State University (MSU). Cadettes, Juniors, Daisies earned their basic Cybersecurity badge. Brownies earned their basic Cybersecurity or making game badges. Seniors earned their Visionary Game badge. The cybersecurity activity badge activities were led by representatives from Constellation Energy’s Women in Technology group, members of the Theta Mu Mu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and MSU’s Women in Computer Science club lead the Cybersecurity Activities.   A team from Boba Studio led the Game Visionary and Game Making activities. Scouts came from all over the state including Montgomery, Baltimore and Harford Counties. Feedback from scouts, troop leaders and volunteers was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees and their parents are asking for more events like this. We are working on it! A big thanks to MSU and all the volunteers to making the day a huge success.
