Farring Elementary\/Middle School #203<\/a>-Baltimore City<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe that the STEM professionals benefit as much from the students, creating a mutually enriching experience for all involved. See what past participants have said about the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comments from Annapolis Middle School participants&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought it was cool, especially the lady who brought in the rocks. She said she was a student at UMD and that she is studying to be a geologist like her mom. &#8211; B.A., 6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;grader<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Science is one of my favorite subjects, and I got the opportunity to listen to speakers all day.&nbsp; My teacher told me we had a lot of different professionals present, so I\u2019m happy I had the chance to meet them.&nbsp; What stood out to me were the engineers. I learned from a software, chemical, and electrical engineer, and they were all so different, but I liked all of them.&nbsp; H.F, 6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;grader<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had a forensic nurse presenting in our science class and she was very nice. Her job seems hard, but interesting, Y.B. 8<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;grader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My favorite speaker was the veterinarian. I love animals, and my goal is to go to college to become a veterinarian too- I.R. 8<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;grader<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NASA engineer was really cool and interesting. She and her husband are both engineers. They were teaching us about how they work with the Government at NASA-S.D. 8<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;grader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was very well organized, and there were so many diverse speakers.
