The Maryland STEM Festival

The Maryland STEM Festival is a small 501(c)(3) organization established in 2017.  Our EIN is 82-3713609.  For additional information, please contact Phil Rogofsky, Executive Director at mdstemfest@gmail.com.  The mission of the Maryland STEM Festival is to encourage all students, regardless of background and experience, to take a greater interest in STEM, with the hope that they will pursue a STEM-related/focused career.

We Bring The Festival To You

The MSF works for an entire year recruiting as many organizations as it can to participate in the Festival, such as libraries, museums, public and private schools, colleges, universities, government agencies and private companies.

What is STEM?

While some see STEM in a very narrow light, MSF sees STEM in the broadest of terms. We see it including all areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. That means, it may include robotics agriculture, architecture, manufacturing, biotechnology, zoology, construction or cybersecurity.

Maryland STEM Festival Spotlight

The 2026 Festival will take place from October 16h through November 15th. We have chosen to celebrate our 12th year by selecting the Ai as theme.  Join us as we explore the diverse and continously changing  world of Artificial Intelligence during this year’s Festival.

We have chosen to celebrate our 10th by selecting the "E" in STEM as our 10th Anniversary theme. 2024 Theme is Engineering-Ideas to Reality. Join us as we explore many of diverse world of engineering during this year’s Festival.
