In-PersonKID Museum will celebrate Maryland Maker Day during Open Explore on Sunday, October 18, inviting children and families to discover the connections between science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on making.
Families can explore, experiment, and create together in an environment that encourages curiosity and creative problem-solving. Through open-ended exploration, children can test ideas, try new approaches, and build confidence in their ability to design and invent.
This event highlights making as a pathway to STEM learning and offers families an opportunity to experience KID Museum’s approach to learning through discovery, creativity, and collaboration.
Sunday admission is $15 per person for adults and children ages 3 and older, with timed entry for a two-hour visit. KID Museum also offers free and reduced-cost admission through its access programs, helping ensure cost is not a barrier to participation. Advance ticket reservations are recommended.
