The Italian Cultural Center, Maryland Public Television, and the Maryland STEM Festival are hosting a celebration of Leonardo Da Vinci and his STEM accomplishments on October 20th from 10 AM to 2 PM at the new BIT Center. The address is 3009 Greenmount Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. This FREE event is being held in conjunction with the release of Ken Burns' documentary about Da Vinci, which will be shown in November. The centerpiece of the event will be the annual Da Vinci Bridge Building contest. The event is open to middle and high school students. Information on the contest can be found here.
