AI Explorers: Understanding Artificial Intelligence A four-part virtual series for Maryland STEM Festival 2026
Artificial intelligence is changing the way we learn, create, communicate, and solve problems. Join Wicomico Public Library for a four-part virtual series during the Maryland STEM Festival designed for tweens and teens ages 11–17. Through interactive activities, live demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on challenges, participants will explore how AI works, how chatbots are trained, why AI sometimes gets things wrong, and what responsible AI use looks like. We’ll examine real-world examples of artificial intelligence and discuss the opportunities and challenges these technologies create for our future. Participants may attend individual sessions or the entire series. Sessions will be recorded and made available on the library website. Saturdays: 10/17, 10/34, 11/7, and 11/14 at 2:00.
