AI Explorers: Understanding Artificial Intelligence
November 14 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Artificial intelligence is changing the way we learn, create, communicate, and solve problems. Join Wicomico Public Library for a four-part virtual series during the Maryland STEM Festival designed for tweens and teens ages 11–17.
Through interactive activities, live demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on challenges, participants will explore how AI works, how chatbots are trained, why AI sometimes gets things wrong, and what responsible AI use looks like. We’ll examine real-world examples of artificial intelligence and discuss the opportunities and challenges these technologies create for our future.
This is an on-line program
Participants may attend individual sessions or the entire series. Sessions will be recorded and made available on the library website. Saturdays: 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, and 11/14 at 2:00.
