Maryland International School 9th Annual STEM Festival

Join us for a day of discovery, creativity, and innovation at the 9th Annual STEM Festival hosted by Maryland International School (MDIS)! This year’s theme, “Understanding and Harnessing Energy,” will shine a spotlight on how different forms of energy impact our world and how we can use them responsibly for a sustainable future.

Students from across grades 1-12 will showcase interactive exhibits and hands-on projects that bring energy concepts to life through a global lens. From renewable resources like solar and wind to advancements in efficiency and conservation, our young scientists and innovators will share their knowledge, experiments, and solutions for addressing the energy challenges of tomorrow.

Highlights of the day include:

-Student Exhibitions: Explore creative and engaging projects that explain energy in action, designed by MDIS students.

-Interactive Experiences: Hands-on demonstrations that make learning fun for the whole family.

-Food Trucks: Enjoy a wide variety of local favorites and treats while you explore the festival.

-Scholastic Book Fair: Inspire lifelong learning with STEM-focused and children’s literature available for purchase.

We invite families, friends, and community members to come together to support our students and experience the joy of learning through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
