Join us at UMBC-Shady Grove’s Biomedical Sciences and Engineering (BSE) Education Facility for an exclusive, up close look at our applied biotechnology labs inside the six-level, 220,000-square-foot facility designed for real-world workforce preparation.

This event will kick off with a general opening session before diving into guided tours of our advanced lab spaces. You’ll get an up-close look at the state-of-the-art instrumentation—the “toys”—that prepare students for high-demand careers across healthcare, biosciences, engineering, and computational science.

Note: There will be two guided tours offered during this event. Students and guests should plan to arrive at either 5:30 pm or 6:00 pm.
