UMD Fire Protection Engineering Information Session & Lab Tour

The University of Maryland offers the only ABET-accredited Undergraduate Program in Fire Protection Engineering in the world! Students learn how to protect people, property, and the environment from fire through innovative engineering design. Graduates have a 100% job placement rate in exciting, public-safety-oriented engineering careers around the globe.

The on-campus information session and tour is geared towards prospective UMD engineering students and their families. In this full two-hour session, you will learn about fire protection engineering courses, career paths, and admissions pathways in addition to touring our fire and computer modeling labs. You will meet a faculty member, current students, and an academic advisor.
