Due to the overwhelming success of the last year’s event we are holding the 2026 Girl Scout Cybersecurity Badge event will be at Capitol Technology University.  The event will be on March 29th from 1-3 pm.  This is a Free Event!  To register your scout(s) for this event, please send the Scout’s name, rank, and troop number to phil@marylandstemfestival.org.

Last year, we held this event twice at the Miller Library in Ellicott City and at Capitol Technology University.  Each was an afternoon of Cybersecurity.  Groups of STEM women taught over 60 students the basics of Cybersecurity.   The event observed the young ladies preparing to navigate the dangers of the cyberworld and potentially become cybersecurity professionals.   This event was part of our Women’s History Month celebration.
