Maryland STEM Festival Maker Day!

Maryland STEM Festival Maker Day

The Maryland STEM Festival is excited to announce October 19th as our designated Maker Day! This special day is set to coincide with the Blue Collar STEM Conference and Job Fair, held at the Community College of Baltimore County. The Maker Movement continues to grow, and Maker Day offers a fun and engaging way to develop essential STEM skills.

What is the Maker Movement?

The Maker Movement is a global trend that emphasizes learning-through-doing in a social environment. It’s all about creativity, innovation, and hands-on projects. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators to engineers, and students to hobbyists. By encouraging experimentation and collaboration, the Maker Movement helps develop problem-solving skills and fosters a love for STEM disciplines.

Maker Day Highlights

Maker Day is an excellent opportunity for Maker organizations to showcase their incredible work. We invite all Maker groups, enthusiasts, and organizations to join us in highlighting the innovative projects and activities that exemplify the spirit of the Maker Movement. Whether you’re into 3D printing, robotics, electronics, or traditional crafts, there’s a place for you at Maker Day.
