Learn the fundamentals of 3D creation in this two-day introduction to Blender.
Perfect for beginners, this class will guide you through the basics of navigating the interface, working with 3D objects, and creating your own simple models. Participants will explore the essential tools and techniques used in digital modeling, including transforming objects, editing shapes, applying materials, and setting up basic lighting and rendering.
Ages 11-19! Learn basic touch-ups for photos & images using the freeware program GIMP, available on MCPL’s public PCs and laptops! Cut out a figure and match it to background lighting. SSL & candy!
Take on a challenge and build a masterpiece! Creations will be displayed after the program.
Learn how to use the 3D printing program Blender and experiment with 3D pens to make a real 3D sculpture of your own! Grades 6-12.
Please note that 3D printing takes time! Attendees will be contacted a few weeks after the program to pick up their creation from the library.
