Robots have been a fascinating part of both popular culture and technology for centuries… even from well before the use of the word “robot” itself! Today, they pervade the worlds of both science fiction and science fact, from “Robocop” to rovers on Mars. Join us as astronomer Rich Isaacman leads us on a journey from the earliest fictitious robots to the sophisticated electronic creatures currently exploring the very outermost reaches of our Solar System.
Event Details
Advance through computer game levels to hone your hacking skills! Presented in partnership with the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber).
We will have experiential tables representing many of the Allied Health Programs available at Johns Hopkins. Students will have a chance to do an activity, ask questions and network with new people. We will also have snacks and giveaways for this free event. Students can go at their own pace, no set schedule.
Maps tell us so much more than where we are. Discover what making maps can reveal about ourselves and try your hand at making a few different maps.
Middle and high school girls are invited to this interactive STEM career fair at The Bryn Mawr School.
