We are Montgomery County STEM Volunteer Program, a local non profit organization (501 c3) that places working and retired STEM professionals with MCPS teachers to bring the real world into the classroom to give students a better understanding of what they learn in the classroom and how it applies to the world around them. We are currently recruiting volunteers for the 2026-27 school year and will be holding our new volunteer training/information meeting on Oct 27, 2026, 9.00am-Noon via Zoom (Zoom link available on request). Full agenda is given below.
We will build Lego models and then experiment and rebuild to get different results.
We will focus on Newton’s Laws with each build.
This will take the full hour so please make every effort to be on time.
