Participants can test out a dissolved oxygen probe, a refractometer, and get a first hand look at a submersible ROV (remote operated vehicle) used for monitoring oyster reefs.

Explore how birds inspired modern flight technology and discover how scientists use drones today to help protect wildlife and ecosystems through hands-on experiments and interactive missions led by Aberdeen High School-Science and Mathematics Academy student and Harford Bird Club member, Tyme Anusonti-Inthra. Each child attending must register prior to the event. Weather permitting, be prepared to go outside for a portion of the program.
