This is a 4-week robotics program presented by two High School juniors at Walter Johnson High School with a passion for STEM, who have participated in the First Lego League competition for two years.
Build, create, and explore with legos! With plenty of pieces and endless possibilities, kids can let their imaginations take the lead in this freestyle building session.
At our workshop, participants will be able to learn about FTC, the advantages of doing robotics, and how to join. They will also get to drive our competition robot from the past season.

Birds of prey can be some of our most conspicuous birds, but also some of our most confusing to identify. Join us for a short presentation on how to identify some of the Eastern Shore’s common migrating raptors, and then venture into the field for some raptor-watching (and other birds too!). Cameras and binoculars are recommended! Sign up at https://pickeringcreek.org/programs/upcoming-programs/
Learn through play by reading, experimenting, and creating with hands-on science activities inspired by pizza!
Come learn about rockets and then build your own!
