Ahoy, Scouts! Set sail to the Maryland Science Center for a workshop that will get you in shipshape for earning your Tiger elective. In this workshop, Scouts will identify different types of boats found cruising the Inner Harbor, test materials to discover what floats and what sinks, and create their own model boat using recycled materials.
This workshop is designed for Scouting America Tigers, but all Cub Scouts are welcome to register.
Earn your Bear or Webelo elective during this 2-hour workshop. Learn about basic tools and their proper uses when you build a zigzag slider toy in our maker space. You will also learn how to test for plumb, level and square during the project.
